The house-museum of prominent Armenian scientist, astronomer, astrophysicist Viktor Hambardzumyan was opened in 1999. The collection has 3,910 exhibits. The personal library of the scientist is stored in the museum. The collection belongs to the Hambardzumyan family. The family has graciously provided the collection to the museum for free use. The main exhibition includes V. Hambardzumyan's private house, where he lived and worked. All the rooms of the academician's house are presented without changes.
